Long-term review: Kathmandu Pathfinder Waterproof sleeping bagDown is the hottest thing to do except when wet. Then it becomes pieces of misery overnight. Even those of us with the fairly polished camp administrator can put water in the store on a wet day, so any protection for your bag below is welcome. This cheerful orange type deports an electronically tested exterior, which is Kathmandu's own windproof shell with a DWR coating. The Pathfinder is classified to zero that it makes for a solid 3-season option, and if this summer was something to go through, water resistance is a useful feature to have. It's worked well in terms of keeping things dry and I haven't had lump or cold stains even though the rain and coffee are given over it. I've used this for less than 3 trouble-free, and I think it's going to go a good bit lower with some layers of extra clothes on, so it's over well for a milder winter bag. It's light, warm, spacious, long enough for my crisp frame (hoorah!) and small pack. All in a good light 3 season option, with a little stretch in the snowy months.
